The Friendly Home

A phased construction approach allowed the facility to remain fully operational during the conversion of double rooms into enhanced single rooms to maintain the 200 bed capacity. An expanded transitional care unit, specialized memory care unit and new rooms designed specifically for bariatric patients are also included. New HVAC, fire protection, fire alarm and nurse call systems are installed throughout along with ADA upgrades.  LECESSE partnered with SWBR Architects on this project.


Geneva General Hospital Cardiology Suite

New construction of a fast track 4,400 square foot facility at Geneva General Hospital.  LECESSE was called in with the challenge of constructing this suite in an effort to assist Geneva General in securing a cardiologist on campus without the need of interim space.  After design and municipal approvals, the suite was completed and ready for occupancy in 6 weeks.  The facility includes exam rooms, nurse stations, staff lounge areas, offices and bathrooms.  LECESSE partnered with King and King Architects on this project.


United Memorial Medical Center

BankStreet 1182_web.jpgUnited Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia, NY, is a complete demolition and rehabilitation of 30,780 square feet of the existing ground floor of St. Jerome's Hospital and adjacent Karol Building to create a new Primary Care & Outpatient Service Unit. LECESSE partnered with Clark Patterson Lee on this project.


Auburn Memorial Hospital

Auburn Hospital.web.jpgLECESSE Construction served as construction manager for Auburn Memorial Hospital in the new construction of a 67,000 square foot addition housing the emergency department, ICU, critical care unit, pharmacy, stage 1 &11 recovery, morgue, auditorium, receiving area and physical therapy center in Auburn, NY. All hospital operations were successfully maintained throughout the demolition and construction phases of this project.  Additionally, LECESSE renovated a 45,000 square foot outpatient clinic, gift shop, lobby, hospital rooms and four state of the art LDRP suites, with waiting room area. LECESSE partnered with Hoffman, O’Brian, Look, Taube & Chiang Architects on this project.

 

Behavioral Health Network

BHN - ext_7345R.web.jpgLECESSE Construction served as construction manager for Greater Rochester Health Systems, renovating a 30,000 square foot OB/GYN wing into a Behavioral Health Clinic in just 90 days. LECESSE implemented a fast track schedule at the client’s request working a multi-shift phased construction schedule to complete more than 200 offices, multiple waiting rooms, training rooms, and a training kitchen. LECESSE partnered with Gardner Plus Architects on this project.

 

Jewish Home of Rochester

Jhaer copy.jpgLECESSE Construction served as Construction Manager and General Contractor for the Jewish Home of Rochester in the new construction of a 362 bed long-term care facility in Rochester, New York. The four resident wings are stabilized by large foundations at the core with clusters of 75 foot long rock anchors embedded 30 feet into the rock for seismic stability. The facility includes a skilled nursing, dementia-care unit and rehabilitation center. LECESSE partnered with The DeWolff Partnership on this project.

 

Lakeside Hospital

Auburn int1.jpgLECESSE Construction served as construction manager for Lakeside Hospital during the construction of a temporary OB/GYN wing and renovation of the existing OB/GYN wing for Lakeside Hospital in Brockport, New York. New construction took place adjacent to a fully functioning uninterrupted operating room. Renovations also included the nurses’ station, waiting rooms and nursery. LECESSE partnered with Gardner Plus Architects on this project.

 

St. Ann’s Home

StAnns_aerial.jpgLECESSE Construction served as construction manager for St. Ann’s Community in the renovation of two high-rise senior housing facilities in Rochester, New York. Years of planning culminated in a modern 560-bed skilled nursing facility which reduced the number of overall beds and increased the care levels to accommodate resident needs. Improvements were also made to both horizontal and vertical transportation, as well as a size increase in the medical support areas to serve the new rehabilitation center and provide more family and resident amenities in the public areas of the building. LECESSE partnered with Clark Patterson Associates on this project.

 

St. John’s Home

St. Johns CCKV.jpgLECESSE Construction served as construction manager and master plan team leader on the 1972 new construction of a 230 bed skilled nursing facility and the 1975 new construction of 170 bed health-related adult facility for St. John’s Home in Rochester, New York. LECESSE also lead the 1997 addition and renovations to combine both facilities, adding 120 beds for a combined total of 475 skilled nursing beds. A phased building approach was taken to keep the facility in full operation during construction of the steel and concrete facility. LECESSE partnered with Sattleberg Partnership in 1972 and 1975 and with The DeWolff Partnership in 1997.
