Goose Landing Apartments

Goose LandingExterior.web.jpgNew construction of a 15,000 square foot 2-story apartment building for seniors in Henrietta, NY. The facility which consists of 20 one and two bedroom units on a 2 acre site is a greenfield development in rural Henrietta designed to provide affordable senior housing to the local community. LECESSE partnered with ADG Architects on this project.

St. Salome Senior Community

Salomes.Web.jpgLECESSE Construction served as Construction Manager for Providence Housing in the new construction of a 41,200 square foot community in Rochester, NY.  The 45 unit facility consists of a two story 39 unit apartment building and 6 two bedroom patio homes.  The main building features a lobby and lounge area, management office, community room with kitchen, laundry facility and an elevator.  Special Green Build features include gumwood trim salvaged before demolition from the rectory that frames the stained glass windows in the new foyer.  A salvaged door and cabinets now inhabit the manager's office.  In addition, a cornerstone dated 1925 was uncovered during construction and now resides outside the main building entrance.  LECESSE partnered with SWBR Architects on this project.

 

GrandeVille at Saxon                                                                                                               

Club_saxon_web.jpgLECESSE Construction is serving as Construction Manager in the new construction of this 175,000 square foot senior living center in Orange City, Florida.  The facility is a 120 unit, two-wing, 4-story community joined by a central clubhouse with pool and spa.  A paver boardwalk surrounds the pond and extends into a resident walking path.  All units will be ADA adaptable.  LECESSE is partnering with James S. Carr and Lang Architectural Group on this project.

 

Cherry Ridge

Cherry Ridge Ext. web.JPGLECESSE Construction served as construction manager for St. Ann’s Community in the new construction of a 267,000 square foot retirement community in Webster, NY. The community consists of 55 two bedroom cottages, 71 independent, 51 assisted living and 24 special care units. Large common areas include a resident chapel, café, convenience store, commercial kitchen, dining room and barber/beauty salon. LECESSE partnered with CS&D/SWBR Architects on this project.

 

Covenant at South Hills

Covenant Aerial.jpgLECESSE Construction served as construction manager for B’Nai B’Rith on the new construction of a 279,000 square foot, 3 and 5 story, 230 unit retirement community in Pittsburgh, PA. The complex included 130 independent apartment homes, 48 assisted and 12 memory support living suites along with 40 nursing beds. This facility features a grand staircase leading to a lobby overlooking the commons resident lounge area. It also features a resident library, fitness center, café and outdoor patio. The site work was especially challenging as an abandoned coal mine ran directly under the fill and building footprint. We had to place 80 vertical feet of compacted fill to get to building pad elevation in order to support the 5 story portion of the structure. LECESSE partnered with CS&D Architects and Greystone Communities, Inc. on this project.

 

Ferris Hills

Ferris Hills AER West.web.jpgLECESSE Construction served as construction manager for F.F. Thompson Senior Communities on the new construction of an 189,330 square foot retirement community in Canandaigua, NY. The facility consists of 84 independent units conveniently built over an underground parking garage and 48 assisted living units. Unique amenities of this retirement community include a grand staircase built in an offsite factory requiring more than 30 workers to install and breathtaking lake views from the Vista Lounge and independent living balconies. The facility also includes a community center with a stone fireplace, main and private dining rooms, a fitness center and spa, beauty salon, therapy suite, greenhouse, studio art center, library, technology center, convenience store and common areas. LECESSE partnered with Greystone Communities, AG Architecture and SWBR Architects on this project.

 

Hawthorne Ridge

Hawthorne-extweb.JPGLECESSE Construction served as design builder for Northeast Health/The Eddy on the new construction of a 120,000 square foot retirement community in East Greenbush, NY. The facility included 50 independent, 12 assisted living and 54 dementia units as well as 20,000 square foot commons area. LECESSE partnered with Northeast Health in a pilot program offering Elite Care Safety Technology, a new web based service allowing residents family members the ability to monitor their activities. Working with LECESSE as design builder allowed Northeast Health to purchase several upgrades out of project savings. LECESSE partnered with Perkins-Eastman on this project.

 

St. John’s Meadows

St. Johns Meadows 01web.jpgLECESSE Construction served as construction manager for St. John’s Home on the new construction of a 339 unit retirement community in Rochester, NY. LECESSE received two awards for the project; the National Association of Home Builders “Best Senior Living” project in 2000 and the Construction Specifications Institute “Outstanding Project of the Year” in 1998. This facility includes 45 two-bedroom cottages with attached garage, 256 independent apartments and 38 assisted units with café, library, fitness center, health lab, swimming pool and guest house. LECESSE partnered with SWBR Architects and Kanalstein Danton & Johns on this project.

 

The Ridge at Riverwoods

riverwood_Dining Room.jpgLECESSE Construction served as construction manager for The Riverwoods at Exeter on the new construction of a 242,670 square foot senior living community in Exeter, NH. Set amongst the trees and rock outcroppings of the pine forest, the Ridge at Riverwoods consists of 142 total units with 81 independent, 27 assisted, 23 special care units and 11 cottages. The facility received the 2006 Best of Senior Housing Design Award with the spotlight on the cherry paneled dining room featuring exposed cherry trusses supporting a cathedral ceiling. LECESSE partnered with Greystone Communities and JSA Architects on this project.
