Geneva General Hospital MRI Suite
The Geneva General MRI Renovation transformed 2,600 square foot of basement space into an MRI suite for Finger Lakes Radiology as well as updates and renovations to a remaining locker room area. This hospital space, originally constructed in the 1930’s required extensive demolition of the existing 2 foot thick concrete wall in two phases in order to bring the MRI processing equipment in. New structural steel reinforcing members were also required. LECESSE worked closely with the equipment vendor to ensure equipment delivery and installation as scheduled leading to the successful immediate closure of the exterior, preventing possible weather damage to the building and/or equipment. LECESSE served as construction manager and partnered with Gardner Plus Architects on this project.
